David Lim, 49, best known as the leader of the 1st Singapore Mt Everest expedition, was amongst the first group of professional speakers; and the first Singaporean, to receive the CSPGlobal ( Certified Speaking Professional – Global) credential from the Global Speakers Federation (GSF)

In the highly competitive world of experts who speak, write, consult and coach professionally, organisations/clients are demanding ever higher standards of presentation skills, relevant content that makes a difference, and quality audience engagement.

David, already one of the few (11%) of the 6000 global speaker members of the GSF who holds the CSP credential was honoured with this group at the recent Global Speakers Summit, a GSF event held every two years. While the CSP is a credential issued after an independent audit of a speaker’s business quality, depth and breadth; the CSPGlobal designation is conferred on those who have “proven mastery of the core global speaking competencies speakers operating across cultures and many nations in the course of their work.”

For David, who is engaged in over 60 paid speaking engagements annually, and has delivered solutions for clients in 26 countries and 51 cities since 1999, the credential is a reflection that a globalised set of client needs requires all professional speakers, including Singaporeans, to raise their game.
