This questions provokes the most effective response to days often filled with seemingly urgent but low-value tasks. So here it is:Â At the start of the day, ask yourself and your colleagues this:
What Do We Want to Achieve Today?
Note: we are not talking about tomorrow or next week. The ‘ what’ frames our response to think about our highest value goals and tasks for the day. These take precedence over nice-to-do but unimportant work. It blasts away time-frittering distractions, and helps us focus to make the most of the day.
